Card Vine
May/110
Is this a bad thing when my green tree frog barks a lot at night?
It dose this a lot. I have a 20H with 25% water in the bottom with a betta in it. I have a heater in the water, tons of branches, frog moss, a small filter, and Plexiglas top half of the screen, also glow life of 10 light gallon. I wonder if "just cause hes barking, he finally ate. I continue to put the crickets in them, because my little frog is small, and many of them continue to fall into the water. I even put some out of card board from an egg carton at the top, but they just keep hoping in the water. What can I do to prevent this? So I just put a vine wood there, but he scoured after spraing with vinegar. Is he barking because I didn't have all the vinegar off? Is it kill or alrady have died? Its been 6 hours since I put it there. Bumblebees may also beetoads live with them?
Frog "Bark" during the mating season (or are in a coupling state; ready to mate if the seasons are not so obvious, as in captivity), they are "barking" to let women know where they are and they are ready to "go," and telling other males to stay away. Connection with cash nocturnal, like a green tree frogs at night. I do not recommend mixing different species of reptiles together (there are very few exceptions.) Reptiles all have specific needs in their enclosures and care, and find creatures that are almost exactly alike in terms of care is rare. For example, the toad Bumblebee you are looking for a true toad, and as such can not swim well at all (they have little or no webbing on their feet.) He could drown in water feature in the chamber. Toads are terrestrial treefrogs are arboreal. The shape of the chamber (the top 20 of you use) is better suited for species tree, as the tree frog. Being terrestrial toads need more horizontal space enclosure, such as using a long 20. Toads spend more time on the ground will also most likely eat all the insects you are breast-feeding before the frogs to get to them (most terrestrial insects power are too.) There are simply too many variables to consider the mixture of these species together, too many risks. If you washed the vine just after spraying, vinegar should be gone. If you have soaked in vinegar, simply wash off would not rid of all the vinegar, you'd have to soak several times in plain water for "non-dipping" on wood vinegar. A simpler and more effective sanitation would be to cook the wood in the oven at 250 F for 30 min. Cool and place in the chamber.
