the practice of embroidery ...?

Where can I get supplies to the practice of embroidery? I did a few projects when I was younger, but it has been awhile and I wanted to try and start again. I was thinking of doing a pillow (small) or just a piece of cloth to practice on. Where can I get supplies to make my own style of embroidery, or a kit with all supplies to practice?

There are often necessary in craft stores like Michaels or JoAnn. But supplies are so inexpensive that you can just buy yourself. You will need an embroidery hoop, needles, embroidery floss and a pattern. I'd also suggest a book that describes the various dots. I'm sure you can find one at the library. The other thing is to check You Tube, my new favorite place to learn how to do things. There are several videos that explain how to do basic embroidery stitches. Good luck.
