Anyone who has lost a great deal of weight?

I am at my wits end right now and am looking for some inspiration from other people who have had a great deal of weight to lose and have been (or are being) successful. I would love to know what method (precisely) you are using and how much you have lost. I'm sure I will get nothing but ads again, but I thought I would post this again in a different area than diet and fitness.
Thanks Boreas. Links are fine - ads for diet aids and the like get a bit tiresome though. They are usually the first and quickest to answer...glad that isn't the case this time around...yet. ;o)

The best way I have found is to eat less and exercise more.
It really is that simple. Find healthy fruits and vegetables you actually like to eat, find exercises you can keep up with. Whatever change you make, be sure that your body feels better for it and allow yourself time. You may find this hard to believe, but eventually you will become addicted to your exercise routine, and controlling portion size.
