Animals Vol

How Many here really have done something to aid the welfare of animals?

Talking about have you adopted an animal from a shelter that has been abused?

Have you donated money to help animals to be spayed/neutered?

Do you do any type of vol. work to help animals?

I guess what I am asking is how many here are walking the walk of just talking and not really doing anything personally?
Edit:

The question has NOTHING to do about being "agressive and judgemental" nor "guilt trip veg*ns into thinking they're not doing enough if they don't spend all their time and energies helping animals".

It has to do with the many comments that I have seen about people making the claim to become vegan/vegetarian for 'the animals' and really wondering how many were really doing something active to see to their welfare or to better their conditions - thus the reason that I made the choice of the phrase, "walking the walk of just talking and not really doing anything personally".

Yes.

My current cat is a rescue...she turns 16 in March and I've had her for 10 years.

I also volunteer at the local animal shelter and I fostered several cats after Hurrican Katrina until their owners could come get them and take them home.
