How do I attach PVC white trim board on the exterior of my house?
I'm going into PT wood, so I'm looking for stainless either screws or nails. Add to that I'd like to have them with white heads so they don't show. Something like white aluminum trim nails except they are the wring metal and too short. Milions of you out there in cyberspace are more clever than I am. How do I get past this problem? Don't know what I'd do without ya. Thanks folks!
I don't know if you have ever driven aluminum nails but they can be a real chore because they tend to bend very easily.
I also think you would want to paint the pvc trim to protect it from UV rays.
I would use stainless nails, and then caulk the holes with white exterior caulk.
