Cool gift for many people?
For my parents, I tend to do a "mass of Christmas," giving all the same, with a little extra to bring my parents as grandparents. Last year I made hot chocolate mix, and my mother was stamped towels, and they were a huge success. This year I have no ideas. Well actually they are all just failures ... I thought a mix cookies in a jar pretty, but that costs to much to do and ship ... I also had the foresight to make washcloths or hand towels snowmen little or crowns on them, but then I remembered, my sewing machine died two years ago after I is about 300 too many portfolios Juicebox ... I need something fairly inexpensive to manufacture. also something easy to do and some something easy to ship (not super fragile) I want to do something myself, do not buy gifts edible things tend to be a hit!
Go to Big Lots or some other stores and get some cans and fill with White Trash. It's delicious, it is easy to do, and it is rather a habit (that wonderful combination of sweet and salty). I found this recipe by doing a Google: Ingredients White Trash: 3 1 / 2 cups Cheerios toasted oat cereal 3 cups Rice Chex 3 cups Corn Chex 16 oz sweet dark chocolate M & Ms 2 1 / 2 cup salted mixed nuts 2 cups small pretzels 2 (11 ounce) package white chocolate chips Directions: Dump cereals, M & Ms, nuts and pretzels in large bowl. Melt white chocolate in microwave or double boiler. Melt slowly, stirring occasionally, being careful not to not burn the chocolate. Dump the melted chocolate and remaining ingredients and fold until you have coated guys and pieces. Do all this mess on the parchment paper and place in a cool place until it sets up, then break into pieces. Store in zip-top bags or airtight containers.
